We’re so glad you’re interested in supporting Tracey’s campaign! There are many different ways you can help, like hosting a virtual meet-and-greet, putting a sign in your yard, holding signs, sending postcards to your friends, or making a campaign donation. Here are some specific ways you can help make sure that Tracey wins her re-election bid.
- Donate money to Tracey’s campaign.
Tracey’s campaign is a grassroots campaign, which means she relies on the generosity of individual supporters to fund her campaign expenses. Your donation will help pay for new lawn signs, advertisements, postcards, and stamps.
You can donate online via PayPal or mail contributions by check to Vanessa Weisman, 9 Coventry Lane, Andover, MA 01810. Please make checks out to The Committee to Elect Tracey Spruce.
- Introduce Tracey to your friends and neighbors.
For the health and safety of our community, Tracey is primarily meeting members of the community in a virtual setting. If you would like to host a “gathering” and invite your friends and neighbors to “meet” Tracey, the campaign will help you set it up. Virtual meet-and-greets are a great way for Tracey to share her reasons for seeking re-election, answer questions about the school district from Andover residents, and hear what school-related issues are of concern to the community.
- Write postcards! And then mail them!
Local elections are held at a time of year when most people aren’t thinking about going to the polls. Receiving a postcard handwritten by someone they know will help your friends remember to make a plan to vote in the local election on March 23rd, 2021. The postcards, postage, and instructions will be provided by our campaign — all you have to do is write a short note asking friends to vote for Tracey on March 23rd.
- Host a lawn sign (and recruit some friends to do the same).
We’ll put up the sign for you in late February and retrieve it after the election in March. Truly, all you have to do is ask for a sign! It’s that easy.
- Write a letter of support to the editor explaining why you support Tracey’s re-election.
- Hold campaign signs.
On Saturday mornings in March, usually starting at 9:00am and ending around noon, candidates for local office and their supporters hold signs downtown. It’s a fun way to meet other town residents and talk about why you support Tracey. We also hold signs at each of the three polling places on election day (7:00am-8:00pm on March 23rd, 2021).
FINALLY: Mark your calendar, make a plan, and vote on or before Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
Thank you for your support!
